The company «Bryansk Arsenal» was created in January 1783 on the bank of Desna in Bryansk. The company was founded in January 1783. Arsenal has played a big role in industrial and cultural development of Bryansk, it is associated with the construction of the first power plant and water pipe in the city, named football club and some streets. The history of the plant is rich in combat and labor traditions. During the Civil and Great Patriotic War, the factory produced weapons for the Secular Army, and in the post-war years, the factory produced the first in the USSR textile machines for processing flax. In 1946, the enterprise began to produce road equipment: conveyors for bulk and piece cargoes, bitumen melting units, mixers of asphalt concrete, bitumen pumps, multi-wheel loaders and a number of other products.

Since 1947, the production of heavy trailer graders D-20 (to tractor S-80) with manual drive has been started.

In 1949, the plant developed the production of asphalt concrete stackers with a capacity of 100 t/h, and the next year the trailer grader - elevator D-192 with a capacity of 450 m3/h with a self-contained drive motor of the conveyor. The self-propelled grader, the D-369 elevator at the International Exhibition in Brussels in 1958, was awarded a gold medal.

In 1953, the plant mastered the production of priming machines D-282.

In 1957, the plant developed the production of cement distributor D-343.

In 1959, the first D-391 primer and the first hydraulically operated D-446 autograder.

In 1960, the factory mastered the serial production of the router road D-530.

In 1963, serial production of the universal D-522 bulldozer began on the basis of the T-180G tractor.

In 1964, a universal D-543 loader based on the D-804 tractor was manufactured.

In 1967, serial production of the D-598B with hydraulic wheel inclination and the D-575 bulldozer with a loosener for working in the extreme north was started.

In 1969, the serial production of the D-710, with a capacity of 90 hp.

In 1972, the enterprise switched to the manufacture of the autograder D399 (d-710 b) with a mechanical transmission, and since 1974 began the production of the autograder with a hydromechanical box, a comfortable cabin with a good overview and ergonomic control system.

In 1975, the plant began to manufacture sets of machines for high-speed construction of roads of union value DC-100.

In 1977 series production of the DS74 and dredger mill ETZ-406 was mastered.

In 1979, the production of kits for the rapid construction of highways DS-110 was completed.

In 1984, serial production began on the D-143.

In 1991, the plant switched to serial production of the DZ-180A.

In 1993, the plant started to produce asphalt paver DS-181. In the same year the enterprise was given its historical name - "Bryansk Arsenal". The plant has turned from a state-owned enterprise into a joint-stock company. Today the enterprise is included in the largest holding "RusPromAwto".

In 1994, the serial production of the upgraded mid-range D-180A was started.

In 1995, production of the road cutter DS197 began.

In 1997, the production of the car grader DZ-199 middle class with increased power - 160 hp.

In 1998, production of the heavy vehicle grader DZ-198 was started.

In 1999, a new model of the medium grader S-14.02 with a two-level engine 127-147 HP. In the same year began serial production of the car grader light class S-10.01.

In 2004, the semi-heavy vehicle grader S-18.05, the asphalt stacker AsfK-3-02 was put to production.

Arc welding complex "Nordica Sterling" of Finland, equipped with robot Kawasaki, horizontal machining center, as well as turning-carousel, rotary turning machines, carousel machine with digital indication and much more.

After the upgrade, prototypes of the S-25.10 and Asf-G-3-08 crawler were created. In 2008, the following equipment was introduced into production: rotary turning, turning and revolver machines manufactured in the USA, bandsaws manufactured in the Czech Republic, and others.

Today PJSC "Bryansk Arsenal" produces low-bed trailers with a load capacity of up to 40 tons, as well as specialized trailers for the transport of livestock and equipment for road works.
